When Sarah went into sudden labour at 33 weeks pregnant, she was rushed to theatre for an emergency C-section. Her son, Dainton-Lee, was moved to the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) before being transferred to another hospital for the highest care possible. After 10 days fighting for his life, Sarah agreed to turn his machines off to let him fly with the angels.

Frankie shares how she and her husband Ben experienced four losses while trying to conceive, three early miscarriages between six and 12 weeks and a late miscarriage in November 2022. The couple were left with no help or aftercare following their losses which inspired Frankie to fundraise for Sands because the charity tries to be present and offer aftercare for all losses. She also wants to encourage people experiencing loss to push for help and for her story to be one of hope because after years of lows Frankie and Ben now have two beautiful daughters, Arabella and Isabel.

After Emily fell pregnant in 2020 at nearly 12 weeks she was scanned at the Early Pregnancy Assessment Service. There she was told her baby had died and it looked like a missed miscarriage. Her baby's heart had stopped at eight weeks and three days. A nurse supported her through a Dilation and curettage (D&C) and offered Emily something to keep her baby's memories in which brought her a lot of comfort. Emily also shares how her rainbow baby, Hope, was born in December 2021.
