We are very sorry that your baby has died. We understand that this is a very upsetting and confusing time. Sands is here for anyone affected by pregnancy loss or baby loss.
Our PDF guides explain how to raise concerns, give feedback or complain after the death of your baby. You should not feel worried about sharing your experiences. Your views are important and you have the right to make a complaint about NHS care. Sharing what happened to you can show where improvements are needed and help make care safer.
There are separate guides for England, Northern Ireland, Scotland and Wales.
There is also a Guide to Welsh Redress, the hospital will tell you if this applies to you.
Everyone grieves differently and there is no right or wrong way to grieve. You may need different types of support and this can change over time. We are here to offer support in a way that is right for you and your family, for as long as you need this.
If you need immediate emotional or mental health support following the death of a baby, please reach out to our Helpline 0808 164 3332 helpline@sands.org.uk.
