In January 2024, at 28 weeks pregnant, Ayesha found that her baby's heartrate was too fast and in the wrong rhythm. This is known as fetal SVT (Supraventricular tachycardia). The SVT caused her baby to become critically ill with a life-threatening condition called non-immune hydrops. During some hospital observations for this condition, sadly a heartbeat couldn't be found, and Ayesha was told her baby boy, John, had passed away.

When a scan showed Caroline's baby had died, her whole world came crashing down. After Jack was born sleeping Caroline spent five days in a bereavement suite with Jack, spending time with him and taking pictures. It was there and then that she first learnt about Sands. Now, nearly 21 years on, Sands continue to be there for her.

Amber wants to share the story of her two beautiful sons, Hugo and Hudson. Tragically when Hugo was just three months old, Amber woke up to find him lifeless beside her. In May 2025, Amber’s world fell apart again when she woke up to find her second son, Hudson lifeless. Amber is sharing her story to raise awareness that baby loss can happen to anyone and to raise awareness of the need for families to receive real answers and for parents’ concerns to always be taken seriously.
