Grant's Story
Grant shares how in September 2013 he and his wife were given the news that one of their twin boys had a heartbeat but the other had died. In December 2013 both boys, Matthew and Oliver, were delivered. Grant and his wife spent four days in a Rainbow room, funded by Dumfries and Galloway Sands, with both their boys. A cold cot and a memory box for Oliver were also provided thanks to Dumfries and Galloway Sands. Since Oliver's death, Grant has attended Sands support meetings and fundraised for Sands in memory of Oliver. This weekend he will be taking part in his latest fundraiser, running the London Marathon for Sands.
