Tom Burdett was elected Treasurer of Sands' Board of Trustees in 2020.
Tom and his family found tremendous comfort in the support they received from Sands after the death of their son Findlay in 2015.
After organising a fundraising event in memory of Findlay, Tom joined the Committee of Norfolk Sands.
Having built a career firstly as an Auditor and now as a Finance Director, Tom has extensive knowledge of the often complex areas of charity finance and governance, as well as the varied experience which comes with being in senior leadership positions for a number of years.
