Why are Sands conducting a survey?
You, our supporters, are at the heart of everything we do. This survey helps Sands learn more about our supporters, it gives you a chance to help shape our work so that we can give the best possible support to everyone.
What kind of questions will be in the survey?
The survey is mostly made up of multiple-choice questions, with the option of “Other” allowing you to expand on your answer if you wish.
How long will the survey take to complete?
The survey will take around 15 minutes to complete.
Why are Sands offering a prize draw with the survey?
We understand that people are very busy, and receive a lot of emails in their inboxes. It’s not unusual for charities to offer a prize incentive to survey participants.
Having this type of incentive proves to increase response rates, allowing us to hear from more people. We then gain a better understanding of who our supporters are, allowing us to learn and grow together.
When will I find out if I’m a winner?
The prize draw will happen on 26th August and you will be contacted by email if you are a lucky winner.
Will I find the questions in this survey upsetting?
Please do not feel any pressure to complete this survey. The wellbeing of our supporters is of the most importance to us.
Questions in this survey include asking about your reasons for supporting Sands, if you’ve received bereavement support from Sands, and if so, the type of support you received.
