Emma is a mum of three, originally from Scotland and now lives in Hampshire. When her son died, Sands (and particularly the local Southampton group) became one of her family’s lifelines.
Professionally, she is a Partner of McKinsey & Company, an international management consultancy.
At McKinsey, she helps a variety of organisations set and deliver ambitious strategies. In the past, she has managed international charity campaigns for Comic Relief, Kofi Annan’s Africa Progress Panel and the White Ribbon Alliance for Safe Motherhood.
