Sands United is a unique way for anyone to come together through a shared love of sport and find a support network where they can feel at ease talking about their grief, when they're ready.

We know that people can struggle to talk about how they're feeling after the death of a baby. Playing team sports can aid the grieving process by helping lift someone's mood, give them a focus, help with sleep problems, and reduce feelings of isolation.
By supporting in the management of your local Sands United team will help the team progress, succeed and most importantly, support bereaved families.
What this role could involve:
- Supporting local bereaved families by being part of a network
- Raising money for, and awareness of, Sands
- Being an ambassador for Sands in your local area
- Managing finances and budgets within the team
- Coaching and supporting players when they need it
- Managing your local teams social media accounts
