Then consider joining others and get involved in the Sands Summer Cake Bake 2010. This scrumptious new event was launched during Sands Awareness Month (1st – 30th June) and will continue throughout the summer months. We'reasking people up and down the country to go cake baking crazy in support of our appeal.
How do you get involved?
It’s really simple, or we could say, it’s a piece of cake! If the idea of getting involved leaves you mouth-watering then get in touch. All you need to do is decide that this is something you want to be a part of, check your calendar for a suitable date and ask some friends, family or colleagues if they’d like to help. We have some delicious mouth-watering recipes to start you off as well as posters, invitations etc to help your event be a success!
If you have the space and enough help, why not consider adding some extra activities to your event. This will add to your guest’s enjoyment but also help raise even more valuable funds too!
Some ideas include
- Raffle, Tombola or Auction
- Dress Down Day
- Guess the weight of the cake
- Summer Cake Bake Quiz
- Cake decorating competition
- Guess the number of cookies in the jar
