Thank you for choosing to support Sands

Every single pound you raise will help us be there for bereaved families, offering them the support they need during the hardest of times.

We hope you enjoy being part of Sands and we are delighted to welcome you to the team.

Why we need you

Sands works across the country to support anyone affected by the death of a baby; improve the care bereaved parents receive from health care and other professionals; and reduce the number of babies who do die by funding research and working closely with other organisations to create a world where fewer babies die. We couldn’t do any of this without the support of groups and associations like you – so thank you.

Looking for inspiration?

There’s an endless possibilities when it comes to how you want to support Sands. You might already have an event planned and be looked for a beneficiary, or you might want to plan something new. In the past, fundraisers have organised:

          Summer/Winter fairs

          Quiz Nights

          Golf days

Games Nights – Bridge? Rummy? Board games?

          Murder Mystery Nights

          Coffee mornings

          Bring and buy sales

Whilst some of these events might seem impossible with the current COVID-19 guidance and restrictions, our Fundraising team are on hand with lots of suggestions on how to make them virtual, socially-distanced and safe – drop us an email to fundraising@sands.org.uk
