The Peak District is home to some absolutely stunning scenery and more than lives up to its reputation as one of Britain’s most inspiring National Parks. It is also home to some equally stunning climbs, including the moorland plateau, Kinder Scout. Part of the moor, at 636 metres (2,087 ft), is the highest point in the Peak District, the highest point in Derbyshire and the highest point in the East Midlands. Join us in September and experience the rugged beauty of the Peaks for yourself!

25km Route

We leave the Event Village with all other routes and head straight through Castleton. We will then get a feel of the beautiful Peak District countryside as we arrive at Hollins Cross, followed by walking through Edale. As we exit Edale we join the Pennine Way which will lead us up and over Kinder Scout. Once we have summited, we will depart from the 50k, 75k and 100k and begin our descent back to the Event Village the way we came.

50km Route

We leave the Event Village with all other routes and head straight through Castleton. We will then get a feel of the beautiful Peak District countryside as we arrive at Hollins Cross, followed by walking through Edale. As we exit Edale we join the Pennine Way which will lead us up and over Kinder Scout. Once we have summited, we leave the 25k and continue with the other routes. We will descend into Hayfield before following distinguished paths until we reach Peak Forest. Here, we will leave the 75k and 100km behind. Our route back will be on country roads before entering Hope and back to the Event Village.

75km Route

We leave the Event Village with all other routes and head straight through Castleton. We will then get a feel of the beautiful Peak District countryside as we arrive at Hollins Cross, followed by walking through Edale. As we exit Edale we join the Pennine Way which will lead us up and over Kinder Scout. Once we have summited, we leave the 25k and continue with the other routes. We will descend into Hayfield before following distinguished paths until we reach Peak Forest. Here, we will leave the 50k behind and continue with just the 100k route. The next bit of the route is along quiet country roads and through small villages in the Peak District before reaching the magnificent Ladybower Reservoir. After crossing the Dam at Fairholmes return to Hope along country roads and back to the Event Village.

100km Route

The next bit of the route is along quiet country roads and through small villages in the Peak District before reaching the magnificent Ladybower Reservoir. At the Dam by Fariholmes, we leave the 75k route and commence a beautiful section of the route, around the Derwent Reservoir. This section at night, lit by head torches, is beautifully eerie. After returning back to Fairholmes, we cross the Dam and return to Hope along country roads and back to the Event Village.
