We are now seeking a compassionate and strategic leader to join our Senior Leadership Group as Director of Bereavement Support and Community & Volunteering. This role leads two areas at the heart of who Sands are - ensuring our support services remain inclusive, high-quality and evidence-based, while strengthening and expanding our community and volunteering offer.
We are looking for candidates who can:
- Provide inclusive, human-centred leadership
- Ensure bereavement support runs as a “golden thread” throughout all their work
- Grow and develop their community and volunteering programmes
- Act as a visible and credible ambassador for Sands
Sands are looking for someone with strategic insight, emotional intelligence and a deep commitment to supporting bereaved families - a leader who can guide teams with clarity, compassion and innovation.
