Walk, Jog and Run it!

Take on the Chiltern 50 Ultra Challenge and enjoy a stunning route through some of England’s finest countryside. 

Join over 1,000 Challengers taking on the distance as a walk, jog, or run, all whilst fundraising for charity and making a real difference. Set out from basecamp in Henley and head north along historic trails and across rolling hills with fantastic views. You’ll travel on Shakespeare’s Way, the Chiltern Way, and the Icknield Way and through nature reserves known for deer and other classic English wildlife. 

Easily accessible from London, this is the perfect scenic day out on the trails for Challengers of all abilities. Join as an individual or as a team and get ready to experience full support every step of the way. Regular Rest Stops packed with food & drink, hot meals, fully marked routes, massage & medical care, marshals on course and walking the route with you, and of course an unbeatable community. There are even camping & transfer options available so you can plan your whole weekend smoothly.

Minimum sponsorship target from: £55 - £375

Charity Sponsorship - Pay a small registration fee, but raise more so that Sands can cover the cost of your event place. Sands is an Associate partner so you get 25% off registration fee.

Own Place - Pay for your event place upfront, but you do not have a set minimum sponsorship target, you can raise what you want for Sands.

Charity Fundraising will need to raise at least 50% of their minimum sponsorship target 4 weeks before the Chiltern 50 Challenge to secure their entries.

As part of Team Sands you'll receive

The difference you will make..

Sands want to ensure that everyone affected by the loss of a baby gets the support they need and deserve when facing the toughest of time.  We want to campaign for change and support research so that fewer babies die and so that fewer families experience the pain of losing a baby.
