Baby Loss Awareness Week, 9 - 15 October, is a time for everyone in the baby loss community and beyond to come together, to honour and remember our babies, and raise awareness of pregnancy and baby loss.
This year marks the 24th year of Baby Loss Awareness Week (BLAW) in the UK. Throughout the week, we want to create a safe and supportive space for you to remember your much-loved and missed baby or babies in a way that feels right for you. Whether you have been affected by pregnancy loss or the death of a baby recently or longer ago, you are welcome at Sands.
Ways to get involved in BLAW
Below are all the different ways that you can take part in BLAW this year. Please try and take time to care for yourself and each other this week. Whether that means limiting time spent on social media, getting out in the fresh air, doing something creative or checking in with a friend or colleague. However you wish to take part, please remember that if, at any point, you need support that we are always here for you.

Sands Ribbon Appeal
For every donation, we’ll add a ribbon to our national ribbon display in Manchester on 10 October. A beautiful tribute, each ribbon remembering a baby who matters, representing a family whose lives have been changed forever.
