The Welsh government have commissioned a rapid assurance assessment of Maternity and Neonatal Services. The assessment will look at whether services across Wales are safe. The report is due to be published in early 2026.  

During this time, the review team would like to hear people’s experiences of using maternity services in Wales.  

With an election due in May 2026, it is currently unclear what actions will be taken following the findings.
