Jayde shares how her son Ruben was born too early when she went into spontaneous labour at 15 weeks. She received a memory box from Sands when she got home from the hospital and thinks about her perfect baby boy Ruben every day.

On the 11th December 2025 I went into spontaneous labour with my son Ruben, it was very quick and unexpected, but I birthed him in hospital and got to spend a week with him. 

My pregnancy was going great, but I had two surgeries. At eight weeks pregnant I had an emergency appendectomy, then at 12 weeks pregnant I developed four quadrant sepsis and needed a full washout of my whole abdomen. I'm very lucky to be here today. Ruben fought through my surgeries and had a strong heartbeat. Unfortunately, at 15 weeks he was born too early but he was perfect. I think about him every day. 

My partner Hayden helped me through it all, and we received a memory box from 4Louis in hospital then when we got home we also received a memory box from Sands.
