I recently lost my baby boy Igor at 39+4 after a low risk straightforward pregnancy. Like most people, I was unaware and uninformed about stillbirth until it happened to me.

When I heard the words '' I'm sorry, but there's no heartbeat'' , my world came to pieces. Everything seemed surreal.

I received great support from the Sands community forum and the memory box that my midwife gave us in the hospital has been more comforting, a beautiful reminder of my baby.
