Seven years of saying their names
Say Their Name Day has been running in Australia since 2019. It’s organised by our sister charity, Red Nose Grief & Loss (Australia).
Each year thousands of parents come together in a powerful act of remembrance and solidarity to say their baby’s name and support each other.
In the UK in 2026, the death of a baby is still too often surrounded by stigma, discomfort or silence. The more we speak up, say our baby’s names and support each other, the more our voices will inspire change and turn understanding into action.
Let’s make Say Their Name Day a success in the UK too and we’ll be saying the names of the babies we’ve loved and lost for many years to come.
