Maggie Simkiss has supported thousands of bereaved parents in the Hull region over the past 26 years. Maggie’s son died nine days after birth.

She has been a key part of Hull Sands since 1992.  Maggie won the Charity Champion Award category at Hull Live’s Heart of East Yorkshire Awards in a glittering ceremony at the KCOM Stadium on Thursday evening, before being crowned the overall winner. Continue reading
