Organise a Starlight Walk

Organise a Starlight Walk this winter and invite friends, family or your community to walk under the stars in memory of much-loved babies. You choose the date, location and route, then bring people together to remember, honour and celebrate precious lives.

What is Starlight Walk?

Starlight Walk is a special remembrance walk held under the night sky. Every step taken and every pound raised helps Sands create a legacy of hope and comfort, showing that every baby is loved and helping anyone affected by the loss of a baby know they are not alone.

Once registered, you’ll receive a welcome pack to help create a memorable walk:

x4 Lantern packs: Card of Dedication, Lantern, LED candle

Participants may wish to write the name of a loved baby on a remembrance card, pin it to themselves during the walk, and decorate lanterns with messages of love.

When you register, a fundraising page is created automatically. Share this page with friends, family and supporters so they can donate and support Sands’ work.

As this event is organised by your group you are responsible for ensuring your route is safe, those who are coming know where to meet and when, and factor in any other elements when organising your Starlight Walk.
