Gateshead Council marked the end of Baby Loss Awareness Week by lighting the Millennium Bridge in pink and blue and it was an emotional moment for bereaved mum Lea-Anne Brown. 

Sands which leads organisation of the week, used the occasion to call for specialist psychological support to be provided free for all parents who experience baby or pregnancy loss, saying 60% of bereaved parents they surveyed had been unable to access the help they needed.  Continue reading
