Sands is delighted to announce a new charity of the year partnership with easyfundraising.

easyfundraising is the UK’s biggest charity shopping fundraising site. The company offers simple ways for charities and good causes to raise donations from supporters without it costing anyone a penny.

Every time a supporter shops online through easyfundraising, with any of the 3,600 retailers they have on board, a free donation is given to the charity or good cause of their choice.

A member of their staff nominated Sands, having received support from the charity when their baby passed away. The successful nomination was then put to a vote in which the company’s 56 employees chose us from a shortlist of eight.

The new partnership will see easyfundraising employees’ lace up their trainers and take part in the Great Midlands Fun Run in Sutton Coldfield on Sunday 2 June.

The company's fundraising activity will help us to continue with our work to reduce the number of babies dying and to support anyone affected by the death of a baby, before, during or shortly after birth.

Rena Shakham, Team Leader and Head of Fundraising Committee at easyfundraising, said: “easyfundraising are pleased to have chosen Sands as our official charity of the year. We look forward to planning a number of fundraising events to raise funds for this amazing charity.”

Sands will also benefit from easyfundraising’s business-related purchases from their online shopping site.
