Becky from Dundee, Scotland, is set to run the Great North Run on Sunday. Here is her story and why she is running for Sands.

I work as a midwife for the NHS and unfortunately caring for women and families who have lost their babies throughout pregnancy is not a never event. Seeing the devastating impact it has for all the family circle is always heartbreaking. I was fortunate enough to recieve ‘free’ study days funded by people’s donations at the beginning of my midwifery training which I think have been invaluable to my practice as a midwife and the care that I deliver to these woman and families
