Salary: C£33k + £3,300 (London Weighting Allowance) per annum
Hours: Full time – 35 hours per week

Sands, the Stillbirth and neonatal charity is a well respected national charity that:
- Supports anyone affected by the death of a baby.
- Works in partnership with health professionals to ensure that bereaved parents and families receive the best possible care.
- Promotes and funds research that could help to reduce loss of babies’ lives.
We are looking for an experienced Communications Manager to join us and help us develop and implement a high impact communications programme for Sands and to assist in increasing the profile of our charitable objectives and brand. You will also act as a Brand Champion and create an external environment that encourages more effective fundraising.
You will have an influential role within the organisation making sure all our communications activities are well planned, impactful and achieve their objectives. This will entail working closely with our research, operational, fundraising and other internal teams and also with external organisations on occasions.
To be successful in this role, you will be educated to degree level with proven experience of people management and significant experience of managing communications projects. The dynamic nature of the role requires strong verbal communications skills, knowledge of a wide range of media, branding principles, and the ability to think creatively.
