Imagine you’re standing at an open doorway in an aircraft flying 10,000 feet. All you hear is the noise of the plane’s engines and the wind whipping round your ears. You look out and see distant fields; a river below…Imagine now leaning out of the doorway and letting go. You start whizzing through clouds. The canopy opens, and you float peacefully down to the ground!

Thank you for allowing me to raise money for Sands. I was petrified of jumping out of a perfectly working plane but had plenty support with me on the day. Also thank you for your support. I can honestly say that man was made to fall through the sky at 154MPH! Although scared I really enjoyed it and have developed a taste for it now. – Peter Foster
A Tandem Skydive is the easiest way to sky dive.
Tandem skydiving only requires 30 Minutes of training to prepare for the big Jump. You are then attached to an instructor who is as member of the British Parachute Association and does the hard work for you…….. So you can sit back and enjoy the view and the thrill of flying through the clouds at up to 120mph.
Static Line Jump
Static line Jump is the very first level which you need to achieve to become a certified skydiver.
You will undergo a day’s training and once you complete the training you can solo jump from 3,000 ft. There will be no freefall involved though as your parachute will be pulled automatically as you leave the plane.
An Accelerated Freefall course is the fastest way to become a solo skydiver. You will have to undergo a day’s training at the aerodrome before you are taken to 10,000 feet to complete your solo dive. Two qualified instructors will be with you throughout the dive but will not be strapped to you and you will have your own parachute which you will have to pull. After the jump you will be on your way to completing the full course.
It was amazing! Loved every bit of it and I was glad to take part in such a life-changing event. – Rachelle Morris-Peart
