Job title: Network Co-ordinator (South-West England)

Responsible to: Senior Network Co-ordinator

Location: Homeworking, plus travel throughout the relevant Network. Occasional travel elsewhere in the UK and to Sands Head Office at 11 Belgrave Road, London, SW1V 1RB will be required.

Contract: 12 month Fixed-Term Contract

Salary: £24,825 per annum pro rata (this equates to a salary of £13.64 per hour)

Hours:  21 hours per week, spread across the week


Sands, the Stillbirth and Neonatal Death Society, is a well-respected national charity that:

• Supports anyone affected by the death of a baby
• Works in partnership with health professionals to ensure that bereaved parents and families receive the best possible care.
• Promotes and funds research that could help to reduce loss of babies’ lives

We are looking for a highly motivated person with a flexible approach who can take forward the work of developing the existing Network. Sands currently has 11 Groups based in South West England who support bereaved parents, provide materials to hospitals and promote training for professionals, and fundraise for these and other Sands projects, including our research goals.

This is a key role which helps us to promote Sands’ vision; a world where fewer babies die; and one where when a baby does die, anyone affected receives the best care and support for as long as they need.
