This group, supported by Sands, brings together experts in stillbirth-related research from across the UK.  The group comprises a wide range of research expertise, including in obstetrics, midwifery, epidemiology, pathology and public health, and includes Sands staff.

What does it do?

  • Identifies topics for further research and encourages big funders to offer funding opportunities
  • Improves the quality of stillbirth research by working with researchers to improve the quality of funding applications
  • Fosters more high quality research in this field by encouraging and supporting researchers and their proposals
